In the U.S approximately 2.4 million burn injuries are reported per year. Approximately 650,000 of the injuries are treated by medical professionals. 75,000 are hospitalized, of those hospitalized 20,000 have major burns involving at least 25% of their total body surface. Between 8,000-12,000 of patients with burns die and approximately one million will sustain substained or permanent disabilities resulting from their burn injuries.
  In 5 hrs we did ....43 old & new clients ... 15 wash/cut/dry + 8 wash/cut + 6 wax + 10 mini-mani + 8 mens cuts + 4 kids (under 12) + raffles + food = $1653.00 (to be exact) for the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors!!

8th Annual Coat Drive!

Help us help others keep warm this winter season by donating cleam coats, hats, mittens & scarves you no longer need or want. All of your very generous donations will be given to local shelters, charitable organizations and to those less fortunate.

Last year, with your help, we recieved & donated 1,948 coats from the Nashua office and this year we've set the goal at 2,000!

Again this year boxes, donated by McLaughlin Mayflower, will be set up in the Salon where you may deposit your donations which will be accepted, as noted, from October 1st through December 1st.

Coats, seaters, scarves, mittens, pants and caps are all needed to keep the less fortunate warm during winter's brutal onslaught. Your overwelming generosity will be most appreciated.
